Over the next two days 40 million people are expected to participate in the Poor People’s Campaign (PPC) virtual march on Washington, DC.

Organizers say they will be live streaming their demands for better living wages, universal healthcare and an end to systemic racism to lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Currently there are over 40 PPC chapters around the country and one of them is the Deaf Poor People’s campaign.

Sign1News MMJ Martha Anger got a chance to sit down and chat with the DPPC founders during a Zoom interview to learn more about their vision.

If you’re interested in learning more about the deaf poor People’s campaign, we will add a link to the transcript for this story.
